Since the beginning of Lent (2002) I have been 'pestered in my mind' to do something longer lasting and on a wider scope using the Internet as a tool to spread something good and wholesome. So, child-like and innocent, but with a faithfilled conviction that this is what the Lord wants, I'm proposing a Circle of Prayer around the whole world. It's open to all - christian and non-christian alike, every man, woman and child, every nation and every walk of life - the good, the bad and the indifferent. One where you dedicate a set time daily and we all pray together, not in front of a computer but in the comfort of wherever suits you best, in groups or alone, although you will not be alone, you will be with us all.If you like the idea check out the website, just completed, and perhaps join me and mine in a daily 10-20 minutes of prayer for what ails the world and all your own intentions. The following comment arrived in the guestbook on Saturday March 2nd 2002 and gave me a lovely endorphin-filled chuckle:
".....I will be following you with interest to discover your approach following Easter". Thanks E.S.B. and this is my approach for after Easter, although me and my bunch start now! Daft an' all as it may appear, but then God works in mysterious ways!
Celtic Women International
Celtic Women International is a young and vibrant organisation founded by Jean Bills, a woman with Irish roots living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is now in growth phase and expanding membership throughout the whole world for ANYONE (yes, even the guys!) with Celtic roots. It's purpose is to honour, celebrate and promote our Celtic Heritage.
